For almost a century, dance has played a major part in Monaco. The concept of a touring company arose due to Diaghilev and his Ballets Russes, for whom Monte-Carlo was the creative studio.
While the Principality's past has allowed it to write the famous pages in choreography's history, the future of dance is also played out there. Preparing the great performers of tomorrow is the challenge that we rise to every day at this special place which is the Académie Princesse Grace in Monaco. Within these walls steeped in history, through hard work, discipline and passion, young dancers can move towards the excellence that will allow them to live their dreams. We welcome all these hopeful, young artists, who cannot contemplate life without the stage and rehearsal studios. We hope that the Académie de Danse Princesse Grace is the school where their talents will flourish and where memories of a youth dedicated to dance and the joy of learning it will be born.
